CLASS B - ENTRY LEVEL DRIVER TRAINING COURSE AND TESTING

This program conforms to the federally mandated entry level driver training (ELDT) requirements. Both a "theory" portion and "behind-the-wheel" portion must be completed to comply with the new law.

We will go over a complete pre-trip inspection with you, identifying all parts needed to be inspected, ensuring that you understand everything that will be on the test. We work with you one-on-one so you will have the ability to ask any questions concerning your test. The pre-trip portion of the class usually takes around 3 hours. Next, we explain the parking maneuvers and allow you the opportunity to perform them on our practice lot. We allot one hour for parking maneuvers. That's enough time to practice each maneuver 2 or 3 times. Lastly, we will take you out on the road and navigate the same route that the Highway Patrol will be taking you on during the test. This is to familiarize you with the route but also allows us the opportunity to verify that you are safe with the truck out on the road. The driving portion of the class is approximately one hour. 

Our practice facility is right next door to the state examiners office. When the time arrives, we simply drive over to the office and walk inside with you to begin your test .
